Your Health is Our Mission
Founded in 1972, the Church of God Hospital, Essienimpong, began as a humble healthcare facility created by missionaries Selwyn
and Muriel Arnold. Throughout the years, it has undergone remarkable growth, driven
by community support and generous land donations from the local chief. This
growth has resulted in a sprawling 40-acre facility, catering to ten neighboring
communities. Now affiliated with the Christian Health Association of
Ghana, the hospital receives government support and continuously strives to
improve its services, transforming into a full-fledged medical institution. Its
mission is to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through the
delivery of high-quality healthcare and disease prevention initiatives, with a vision to
provide exceptional healthcare while advancing the Kingdom of God.The hospital expresses its sincere gratitude to numerous leaders and benefactors for their vital contributions, including
Bishop Joseph Manful Crentsil and Bishop Saint Oteng, whose guidance has
driven the hospital towards its healthcare aspirations. Special
thanks are given to Bishop Dennis Tanner from the United States for his
extraordinary fundraising efforts that facilitated the construction and improvement of
the maternity block. Furthermore, appreciation is extended to Bishop
Barrington Mullings and his Mission Team for their ongoing provision of
state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and their commitment to establishing a Renal Center.
